1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Letter Ledgers ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Letter Ledgers is a newsletter analytics platform that aggregates data from third-party services (Beehiiv, Meta Ads, Stripe) to provide a unified dashboard for newsletter creators. The Service includes subscriber tracking, ad spend analytics, revenue management, audience demographics, and media kit generation.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Third-Party Integrations

The Service connects to third-party platforms (Beehiiv, Meta, Stripe) using API keys or OAuth tokens that you provide. You represent that you have the authority to grant us access to these accounts. We access this data solely to provide the Service and do not use it for any other purpose.

We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by third-party services. Changes to third-party APIs may affect the functionality of the Service.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.

6. Media Kit and Public Content

If you enable the media kit feature, certain information (newsletter name, tagline, logo, subscriber statistics, sponsors, and sponsorship rates) will be made publicly accessible. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you make public is accurate and does not infringe on any third party's rights.

If you opt in to the Discover page, your newsletter name, tagline, logo, and media kit link will be publicly listed. You can opt out at any time from your settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload misleading or fraudulent data to your media kit
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse API integrations
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Letter Ledgers. You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Letter Ledgers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
